3D VFX | MAYA

Maya is used to create complex visual effects shots including 3D particles, digital stunt-doubles and dynamic simulations for both completely CG productions and also for integration with live action footage.

VFX COMPOSITINg | After Effects

Chroma Key Removal | Greenscreen

An integral part of many post-production scenarios is that of chroma key or green screen removal. Shooting in a green studio allows maximum creativity during compositing. Various settings are used to create clean and accurate mattes.

Rotoscoping

Using various bezier pen tools and settings to achieve the desired result, rotoscoping is a very specialized skill and requires care and attention to detail to produce a clean mask. Rotoscoping is often performed alongside greenscreen work.

2D / 3D Camera Tracking

When dealing with moving camera shots, it is often required to re-create the camera's movement in digital 3D space. This is to allow seamless integration of CG elements with the footage. Various tracking tools make this process achievable.

Camera Stabilising

Sometimes the footage is jerky or wobbles in some manner. Camera stabilisation is often performed alongside rotoscoping or camera tracking, essentially preparing the original footage for the creative compositing stage.
